Meet Our Volunteers: Mastora Hassan

Mastora Hassan joined Afghan Health Initiatives as a volunteer, currently she is working with Lutheran Community Service Refugees Northwest as a behavioral health counselor. Mastora has a BA in Human Resource Management from Mariam University with over 10 years of diverse experience. She previously worked for 8 years performed at the US Embassy and USAID/ Afghanistan. 

She states, “In my free time, while I am not working, I like to spend quality time with family, friends and practice my faith. My family includes my husband and five-year-old son. I love nature and outdoor activities, such as biking, walking and exercising--rain or shine.”

With Afghan Health Initiative, she says “I am looking forward to building strong community relationship, awareness and engagement.”
